Propecia: a new method of treating hair loss in women
Online Propecia pills, which we can see at the shelves of numerous pharmacies, in combination with contraceptives can stop hair loss in women, according to Italian scientists. About half of women with age are faced with the partial baldness: there is progressive thinning of hair almost all over the head.
Hormonal changes that occur in the postpartum period (30% women), menopause or due to the use of contraceptives – the most common causes of hair loss in women. Female pattern baldness has a strong psychological stress: women give a greater sense to their appearance than men, a negative psychological effect caused by the public reaction to the disease – a balding woman is not considered “normal.”
Propecia without prescription blocks the conversion of the male hormone testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT gradually “squeezed” the hair follicles, and they are unable to reproduce the visible hair.
Recent research by British scientists has confirmed the effectiveness of the drug in women. In the experiment were attended 37 women aged 19 to 50 who suffer from alopecia. They received 2.5 mg / day of Propecia and birth control pills.
According to experts 23 patients (62% of subjects) have significantly improved (12 – a slight improvement, 8 – Average, 3 – significant) their hair condition. Women appreciate results more positive: 29 patients felt a marked improvement, 8 noted stabilization, nobody has noticed deterioration. Side effects were not observed.
“There is no 100% guarantee for any form of hair loss treatment,” – said Dr Nigel Hunt of the Center for the Study of baldness, UK: “But we are confident that the effectiveness of cheap Propecia drug is high, despite the fact that it has a strong embryotoxic action.”
