Netflix February 2019 coming and going – The streaming service announced its upcoming lineup of all the series, films, and documentaries. And specials coming to the site in February 2020, and prepare yourselves, everyone. It’s one heck of a list.
Of course, this nowhere near represents the complete list, and Netflix often adds around one hundred to two hundred titles that don’t make it onto this preliminary list. The best way to keep up to time with those new titles is by following our what’s new on Netflix section.
New on Netflix February 2019
As always, the first of the month brings some of the most significant new movies to the service. For completionists, all three Jaws movies will be re-added to Netflix. This means you can again realize your fear of the ocean as you witness the shark attacks that rocked the 1980s.
Those who love American Pie often tell you there are only three movies, the first two and the more recent reunion. Luckily, Netflix is adding these three on February 1, meaning we can now relive Jason Biggs sticking his thing in a pie.
Our third highlight is the 2011 comedy that likely missed most radars when it was first released. It’s got an impressive cast with Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Des channel, and Adam Scott on the roster. The movie is about one idiot brother who charges into the lives of his three sisters. Our Idiot Brother will stream on Netflix from February 26.
Netflix February 2019 is coming and going.
February capacity is the shortest month of the year, but Netflix is still dropping a long list of movies and TV shows throughout it. If you’re not in the mood to watch a romantic comedy come on Valentine’s Day, you’ll have your pick of every movie in the Jaws franchise—which is a perfect scenario. The streaming giant is also releasing several original series and films, like The Umbrella Academy, which stars Ellen Page and centers on siblings with superpowers who reunite after their father’s death.
Consider these titles: The Edge of Seventeen. And also Pretty in Pink and Hairspray. All three movies are ideal for V-Day: cute and sentimental without being too corny. Of course, all three American Pie movies are hitting Netflix, as well, in case you want to do something completely left-field.
One of the most exciting things about subscribing to Netflix is discovering what new titles are coming each month. It’s heartbreaking to find out what Netflix is leaving behind. And even when you feel like you’re in the middle of a series that’s going away soon. There’s always hope that it will return one day.
